Pedro Iwasaki is a Senior Programmer specializing in the design and deployment of high-end Control4 systems. His expertise spans AV design, centralized lighting, networking, and the integration of wireless lighting devices, ensuring that every accepted proposal is both functional and tailored to the customer’s needs. As a certified electrical engineer, Pedro started his career working on NEC PABX phone systems for large companies, gaining extensive knowledge in networking and electrical design before transitioning to the U.S. low-voltage industry, eventually becoming an early adopter of Control4 home automation technology. Pedro’s approach combines engineering precision with a focus on maximizing efficiency and reliability. He develops comprehensive technical drawings and instructions for AV, networking, and lighting systems, supporting technicians and resolving any issues that arise post-installation. One of his standout projects involved programming a 22-room residence with 32 audio zones, garage access, pool controls, and full home automation. Guided by strong work ethics, Pedro is dedicated to finding definitive solutions for every challenge. Cesar has also developed strong technical skills, including URC remote programming and Control4 programming, which he leverages to deliver impactful, user-friendly systems for clients. Cesar approaches his work with a commitment to teaching technicians about products and solutions, striving to achieve a “wow” effect in customer setups and ensuring everything operates smoothly. With extensive experience in IT and networking that began at age 8, as well as expertise in alarm systems, FACP, IP and analog cameras, and some audio equipment, Ricardo brings a deep technical background to his role. His career highlight to date was designing security, access control, and fire systems for U Stadium while working with Peru’s phone system company. Ricardo approaches his work with humility and a consistently positive attitude, driven by the satisfaction of delivering optimal outcomes for clients. His logical and methodical approach ensures that systems function effectively and meet customer expectations. Since starting at HT Install as a technician, he advanced to lead technician and eventually to his current role as a project manager. Ricardo holds CCNA and Cisco certifications, adding valuable networking and electronic expertise to his skill set. Katsuki Iwasaki is the Warehouse and Purchasing Manager at HT Install, overseeing all aspects of purchasing and leading the warehouse team. With a background in industrial engineering from the University of Central Florida, where he earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees, Katsuki began his career in the warehouse and steadily advanced to his current management role. One of his notable achievements is transforming a previously disorganized warehouse by establishing regular inventory checks and streamlining the inventory process, ultimately reducing inventory levels by 25%. 2003

David Arango, our owner, embarks on his journey in the AV industry, starting as an installer for Direct TV and later working for Circuit City, Capitol Lighting, and Mellon Home Technologies.

2009

Despite being laid off due to the recession, David dives full-time into his independent work, leveraging his detail orientation and stellar customer service to weather the economic storm.

2013

HT Install is incorporated, marking the official beginning of our automation and commercial security company with two full-time employees.

2016

We enhance our workspace with a coffee machine and breakfast offerings at meetings, expanding to two bays in our warehouse and growing to a team of six employees.

2020

Despite challenges posed by the pandemic, all 15 employees remain employed, showcasing our resilience and commitment to our team.

2021

We prioritize employee well-being by offering insurance benefits to all team members, underscoring our dedication to fostering a supportive work environment.

2024

With 27 full-time employees, two project managers, four service vehicles, one box truck, and six installation trucks, including six electric vehicles, we celebrate the completion of nearly 7,000 projects. Today we continue to grow and innovate as a home automation and commercial WiFi installer, to name a few of our services.
